Top-lamp Scania 142 "look-a-like"
Total old-school top-lamp in the best Scania 142 "look-a-like" style. Available with red and clear, red and orange, and clear and clear glass respectively. The lamps are sold individually.
The glasses can easily be switched from side to side, and you will not have to buy a right and left version. Untidy the 2 screws at the top of the lamp and you will get access to both glass and bulb.
There is a 10W BA15S bulb included, that is installed in the lamp, but it is very easy to mount our own LED emitters.
LED emitters
The Matronics LED emitter is fastened inside the lamp with a screw, and can be mounted on both sides. Typically you would mount a red to the rear, and a dual color xenon white / yellow forward. With a Dual Color US light controller, it is also easy to use this as an indicator. With a DC rear light controller, you can use it as positionlight, brakelight, and yellow indicator.
YOU WILL NEED 2 EMITTERS FOR 1 LAMP
The emitter is mounted by drilling 2 holes, and fastening the emitter with the included screw. The wires are 1 meter long, and easily reach outside the lamp.
Connecting LED emitters
For the DC emitters with 2 wires, you swap plus and minus to change colors. Connect the yellow wire to plus, and it lights up yellow.
Old school Scania 142 / 2- series "look-a-like" top lamp. Available with different colored glass, and LED emitters.
