Advances timer setup and connection
The timer has a total of 18 functions, that can be setup with different parameters.
Connecting
Connect to 12V or 24V DC+ and DC-
CH1 input is activated with a high voltage, eg. 12V throught a switch.
The relay works as a switch, where COM and NO is connected when the relay is activated.
Setup
You set the relay up using the display, switches and the 4 indicator LEDs on the side of the display.
The switches all have short and long presses. Short press is under 1 sec. Long is over 1 sec.
The module can be run in 3 modes
- Running
- Display parameters
- Edit parameters
Running
Startup
When you turn on the relay, it shows the current function in the delay. When the function is done, it shows the current function number, eg. 01 or 02.
SET switch
A short press turns off the display, reducing the current needed to run it. The relay still runs as intended.
A long press enters the Editing parameters mode.
SM1 switch
A long press sets the mode to Display parameters
NUM+
A long press makes the display auto turn off after 10 seconds. A short press on set will turn the display on again for 10 seconds. A long press will disable auto-turnoff again - note the display must be on while pressing.
NUM-
A long press will reset the function and stop it. A short will simply reset.
Display parameters
A long press on SM1 will enter the display settings mode. The MD indicator will be on.
Short presses on set will switch between the parameters MD, T1, T2 and NX. The LEds on the side of the display will show which value is shown.
A long press on SM1 will leave the display parameters mode.
Edit parameters
A long press on SET will enter the edit parameters mode.
A short press on set changes between the 4 parameters MD, T1, T2 and NX. The LEDs on the side of the display will show which value is being edited. You can change the value of the parameters using NUM+ and NUM+. Note that you can only change one number at a time, and the current number will be blinking. A short press on SM1 will change which number is being edited.
MD: Active function (01 to 18)
T1: Timer 1 - 1 to 9999 seconds
T2: Timer 2 - 1 to 9999 seconds
NX: Purpose depends on chosen function.
NX and functions
Function 01 to 06 and 11 to 16
The value of NX is multipied with T1 and T2. The first two numbers is for T1, the last for T2. Eg
00 = Time is multiplied with 0.005 (for short and precise settings)
01 = Time is the set value
50 = Time is multiplied with 50. If T1 is 1000, the interval will actually be 50 x 1000 = 50000.
Example with 8 hours.
8 Hours
8 * 60 = 480 minutes
480 * 60 = 28800 seconds
With NX value of 90, the timer must be set to:
28800 / 90 = 320
Function 07, 08 ,17 and 18
BX defines the number of cycles in the function, from 1 to 9999. You cannot extend or reduce the T1 and T2 timer, as 01 is the default for these functions.
Functions
Function 1 - Delayed on
Relay is off on start
Timer 1 counts down
Relay starts when Timer 1 = 0
High pulse on CH1 will repeat the function. Timer 1 can be set from 0.005 seconds to 270 hours.
Function 2 - Delayed off
Relay is on on start
Timer 1 counts down
Relay goes off when Timer 1 = 0
High pulse on CH1 will repeat the function. Timer 1 can be set from 0.005 seconds to 270 hours.
Function 3 - Delayed on and delayed off
Relay is off on start
Timer 1 counts down
Relay goes on when Timer 1 = 0
Timer 2 counts down
Relay goes off when Timer 2 = 0
High pulse on CH1 will repeat the function. Timer 1 can be set from 0.005 seconds to 270 hours.
Function 4 - Delayed off and delayed on
Relay is on on start
Timer 1 counts down
Relay goes off when Timer 1 = 0
Timer 2 counts down
Relay goes on when Timer 2 = 0
High pulse on CH1 will repeat the function. Timer 1 can be set from 0.005 seconds to 270 hours.
Function 5 - Infinite cycle mode 1
Relay is off on start
Timer 1 counts down
Relay goes on when Timer 1 = 0
Timer 2 counts down
Relay goes off when Timer 2 = 0
This repeats itself infinite times.
High pulse on CH1 will repeat the function. Timer 1 can be set from 0.005 seconds to 270 hours.
Function 6 - Infinite cycle mode 2
Relay is on on start
Timer 1 counts down
Relay goes off when Timer 1 = 0
Timer 2 counts down
Relay goes on when Timer 2 = 0
This repeats itself infinite times.
High pulse on CH1 will repeat the function. Timer 1 can be set from 0.005 seconds to 270 hours.
Function 7 - Limited cycle mode 1
Relay is off on start
Timer 1 counts down
Relay goes on when Timer 1 = 0
Timer 2 counts down
Relay goes off when Timer 2 = 0
This repeats itself the number of times NX is set to.
High pulse on CH1 will repeat the function. Timers can be set from 1 seconds to 9999 seconds
