MAN TGE / VW Crafter LED DRL conversion kit (2020+) - Yellow

Complete conversion kit for MAN TGE / VW Crafter with LED headlights from 2020+, to replace the cold white LED DRL with yellow/orange light. The 10 bright high power LEDs create an equivalent brightness to the original.

Notice that this set only replaces the top and bottom line, the short in the middle cannot be replaced, and will stay white. Thermal paste is included in the kit.

Mounting

The emitters are relatively easy to mount, but it is required to remove large parts of the front, to access the headlights.

• The original emitters are mounted on heatsinks placed on the backside of the headlights. Remove the headlights, and then the heatsinks.
• The original emitters are connected with a connector, that is disconnected.
• Remove the emitters from the heatsink, and clean the heatsinks of any thermal paste.
• New thermal paste is applied on the emitters, take special care on the area behind the LEDs. The emitters are placed on the heatsink.
• The heatsinks are mounted on the headlight, and the headlight is then tested, before mounting it again.
