LED emitter for Hella Talmu DRL lamps
Large and bright emitter that fits in to the original Hella Talmu DRL lamps. It creates a nice bright light in the whole lamp. Available for 12V or 24V, in different combinations of dual color.
The emitters are sold as 1 pc.
The original reflector is taken out, and the emitter placed directly in. 4 rubber washers are included, that hold the emitter in place. There is 10cm wire on the back for connecting it to power.
Dual color
The dual color model has 3 wires, a common ground and a plus for each color. Typically you will connect this to a toggle-switch or relay for color change.
Dual color + flash
Standard strobecolor is yellow, but it can be customized to eg. blue or white for special purpose vehicles. The 12V model has 3 high power strobe LEDs, while the 24V has 6.
There is 7 meter cable on the emitter with M8 connectors, that can be connected to the included controller. The controller manages the two colors, and automatically turn them off when you enable the strobe light. The controller itself has 5 meter wire. The cable has 4 wires:
- Minus - Green cable
- Plus for white position light - White cable
- Plus for yellow position light - Yellow cable
- Plus for strobe light - Brown cable
Diffuser
The diffuser gives the light a neon-look, where it is not possible to see the individual LEDs on the PCB. The diffuser only fits our LED emitters.
The diffuser is made of a frosted plate and two springs. The glass is removed from the lamp, and the two springs are places over the two screw bosses, and the diffuser placed on top of those, and the lamp is closed.
